The mountains were calling, so we brought them to Kansas City.

With the opening of Front Range Coffeehouse & Provisions in 2019, Made in KC expanded its entirely local coffee program into a cozy neighborhood setting in Fairway, Kansas, and now in Kansas City, Missouri. Front Range offers coffee, pastries, and breakfast options in the morning, extending service into the evening with a simple, straightforward bar menu.

Intended to be approachable and welcoming, the heavily themed coffeehouse and bar is both kitsch and comfort. It’s nostalgia and fantasy stirred together, reminding you of that rustic cabin in the mountains you’ve seen or maybe even visited.

As a company dedicated to the cultivation of creativity within Kansas City, it’s a pleasure to serve an entirely local coffee menu that isn't limited by its boundaries but is better because of them. In contrast to our Made in KC bars, we showcase our local beers, wines, and spirits alongside the industry’s best and most recognized national brands, a clear testament to the local products’ quality and flavor. In this way Front Range is a true extension of Made in KC, complete with a small selection of local goods, but under a new name. With Front Range, we hope to expand the concept of what local retail means; it’s not just novelty, it’s not just gifts⁠—it can be utilitarian and part of your routine.
